Dana Cook Grossman, a name familiar to readers of this publication who make a note of mastheads and by lines, has been named associate editor of the Darthouth Alumni Magazine. Editor since 1979 of the "back half" of the Magazine the 40 or 50 pages comprising the class notes and obituaries, she has also done a number of feature pieces, including the retrospective on Adrian Bouchard in the September issue. She replaces Mary Bishop Ross, who retired, as the second in command at the Magazine and will be taking over responsibility for various departments in the front half.
Grossman came to the Magazine from the Hopkins Center, where she was assistant publicity manager; she has also held posts as director of information services at the community hospital in Lebanon, N.H., and as an editor for two local weekly newspapers. She was graduated from Brown University with a degree in political science.
