There are just three things I want to say before you read this column again next fall.

First, Bert Jones made the Valley News of Lebanon, N.H., upon earning an M.S. degree in financial services from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pa. Bert is in the insurance and risk management business in Hanover (his own firm) as well as being treasurer of the Keating Insurance Agency in Claremont. Congratulations, Bert!

Second, it is time to start considering our 20th reunion (never too early!). To help us consider further, Dave Godine has consented to host a pre-game tail-gate party prior to the Harvard game in October. More on that will be mailed in the early fall.

And third, Mike McGean, secretary of the alumni, has sent out a call to identify alumni in our class who have achieved special and noteworthy accomplishments but who, due to modesty or lack of communication, have not been known to us. If a fellow classmate falls into that category, drop me a line. I'll enjoy hearing, and so will the College. One such classmate, Josh Grindlay, is the subject of a special article this month (see next page). Josh graciously consented to a little extra illumination of his noteworthy accomplishments. It was a fun piece to do. I hope you enjoy it, and I hope someone else will be a subject next year.

Oh yes, have a good summer!
