So much for my pigskin prognostications. As you are all no doubt aware, I predicted only one loss this season by the football team. Despite this blind loyalty, I will not be making bets with any of you.

Thanks to Tony Garufi, I have a few tidbits this month from around the country. Speaking of Tony, don't forget to send in your class dues if you haven't done so already. Tony provided me with a number of notes, including the announcement of the birth of Abigail LaBombard Noyce on June 16,1984, born to Bill Noyce and Jonie LaBombard '76. I think green is going to be an important color in Abigail's life.

For those of you who have been hunting for Ross McKinney, he writes,"My wife, Holly, and my two kids love Durham, N.C." It's a good thing, too; it would appear that Ross and family will be long term residents. Ross has been offered a faculty position in the department of pediatrics. At least his children will be well cared for.

Since May 17, Charles Frierson has been working at the American Bible Society as a staff artist. My notes could not possibly do his letter justice, because it was complete with a sample of his work. Charles writes that he is still living in Brooklyn and working on his bodybuilding.

Claude Saucier was unable to attend the reunion but writes of a twinge of envy. His schedule included rehearsals for a play produced at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Turns out that it was a real '75 affair; Michael Canick composed the music for the project.

Additionally from the "unable to attend reunion department" comes news of A.G.Rud. A.G. has been an extremely busy fellow and much sought after. He recently gave a talk on philosophy for children at the International Conference on Thinking at Harvard in August. Despite the fact that the talk was given at Harvard, I am sure it was superb. A.G. has also been providing his talents to the city of Portland and the state of Vermont, advising on the inclusion of philosophy in their schools.

A final note from Dan Magee from Altoona, Pa. After obtaining his M.B.A. from George Washington University in 1983, Dan joined Mid-State Bank as a portfolio manager in the trust investment department. True to form, Dan has been promoted to investment officer and serves as a member of the bank's trust investment committee. Congratulations, Dan; I'll call soon for advice.
