Dartmouth Night, the night before the Harvard game in Hanover this month, will be climaxed with another of the giant bonfires that have become a traditional part of this annual celebration. Shelby Grantham traces the history of campus bonfires, going back to the late 1800s, and explains that producing this fiery spectacle isn't an easy job.
