Welcome to Karen Blank and Father Joe Devlin - new adopted members of the class.

Marriages continue to dominate the news. On September 28, 1985, JessieBrumby wed Jon Parek 'Bl in Atlanta. Eight unnamed Dartmouth friends fought Hurricane Gloria to attend the festivities. The Pareks reside in Boxborough, Mass.

Meg Coughlin LePage sent a newsy letter. (Others could follow her example.) Meg is enjoying practicing law and motherhood, although her baby is still as bald as Telly Savalas. Meg wrote that she had enjoyed a visit with Laurie Livesey. Laurie will be living in Paris (France, not Texas) for the next three years and working for IBM. Meg invited all Dartmouth folks to visit Laurie when in Paris.

Meg also reported the June 1985 wedding of David Chilcote to Nancy An tie, a classmate of Meg's when they were in law school at the University of Michigan. An appropriate assortment of Dartmouth reprobates rallied for the Bay City, Mich., ceremony. Even Winnie Hutchins was there enough said. David and Nancy live just outside Cleveland (Ohio, not Georgia). Nancy is with a law firm, and David is an assistant vice president with Capital Funds Corporation, a venture capital organization.

Todd Young is practicing law in Chicago. He enjoyed a recent vacation to London. He reports working on "big deals" and travels to New York City.

Cami Crone Bilger writes of the quick passing of time. Perhaps that is because she nonchalantly gains and loses days on her way to and from the Orient - Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Hong Kong, and China - for trips of business and pleasure. Cami enjoyed the Forbidden City, the Ming Tombs, and the Great Wall.

Merle Adelman Everett, still in the Boston area, is excited about her new job with a computer company called Symbolics, Inc., where she will be the senior marketing communications specialist. I do not know what that is. I am a low-tech man in a high-tech world.

Jake Eschen has found love and is searching for truth, peace, and happiness in his native California.

Hello, Americans - Page One: I earlier reported that Robin Shrier had left Florida for Boston. She is working at Braintree Hospital in a functional rehabilitation program for patients with head injuries.

Page Two: Cathy earlier reported that Paul Elmlinger was engaged. What she did not report is that Paul, a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center, is an associate in the New York law firm of Simpson, Thacher, and Bartlett.

Page Three: Cathy also announced the marriage of Mary Ann McDonald Carolan. What Cathy did not report is that a very pretty picture of Mary Ann appeared in The New York Times the day after the wedding.

Page Four: Additionally, Cathy wrote of the marriage of Stuart Bell. But did you know that Stu is a sales representative with Innovative Market Systems? More importantly, did you know that women throughout the Northeast wailed, rent their hair, and gnashed their teeth when they learned that Stu was no longer a bachelor? Now you do.

Now you know - the rest of the stories. Good day!
