Reunion year 25,25, Men, glad to be alive, Women strong, they survive, We will find...

Now it's been 25 years.

Seems we drank a billion beers. The hill winds in our breath. Granite of New Hampshire,

Made part of us 'til death. Still North seems so far away, Maybe it's only yesterday...

Reunion year 25,25, So very glad to be alive. Not just survive, but we prevail. Shout from the hills with a hail, Reunion year 25,25!

Now that you are all pumped up for reunion, here's news of our classmates.

Winston Hutchins, Doug Sacks and Paul Elmlinger all live in the same apartment building on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, which just goes to show that owner associations are not infallible. Paul is general counsel for Atlantic Trust Private Wealth Management. Winston is a partner with Fortsmann Little. Doug is with Goldman Sachs. Anyone else see a theme developing here?

How many grandparents do we have in the class? Eric Pfeiffer is one of them. Eric is marketing director-worldwide for Simonds Industries Inc. in Fitchburg, Massachusetts, a leading provider of cutting tools and related products for the wood, pulp, paper, metal and other industrial markets.

Bob Laflam is medical staff president at Concord Hospital (New Hampshire), where he faces daily challenges ranging from patient care to declining reimbursement and tort reform. When not pushing papers, Dr. Bob puts people to sleep as an anesthesiologist. On the home front, his children are spread out from elementary to high school.

Dr. Carl Tubbs is an Ironman, as you can see for yourself at www.eyesee2020.com/tubbs. (Ain't Google great!) As part of his midlife crisis, Carl took up triathlons a few years ago and more recently committed himself to Ironman distance races. When not running, Carl practices general ophthalmology and provides general ophthalmic care, including the treatment of diabetes and cataracts, with a special interest in the medical and surgical management of all types of glaucoma.

Earl Grossman is a senior executive and owner of World Strides, LLC., the country's largest youth-oriented travel company.Though based in Virginia, Earl serves on the board of Boston Duck Tours, among others. Earl reports that traffic in Boston still stinks, despite the Big Dig.

With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Rob Schoder is executive vice president of U.S. Equities Realty in Chicago and co-man- ages its real estate consulting and brokerage services group. When not representing both tenants and landlords, Rob is doing crazy things, such as driving to Hilton Head and back with his five children—Robby (15), Michael (13), Mari (13), Scott (11) and Charlie (7)—to visit his parents.

In July of 2000 Derek Brown married Violetta Pristel in Melbourne, Australia. They had a party under the stars in Santa Cruz that October for their stateside friends, including John Beyer, Peter Fowler, Marc Lewis, Bart Littlefield and Simon Michael. Violetta is a viticulturalist for Ridge Vineyards and Derek enjoys the fringe benefits of her profession. Derek took a break from Silicon Valley to build an off-the-grid home in the hills above Santa Cruz, a crash course in skills and technologies. The result is surprisingly comfortable (including high-speed Internet via satellite), but a bit of extra work. Apart from the annual propane delivery, Derek and Violetta get along fine without any wires or pipes connecting them to the outside world.

See you in June.
