Nick Sandoe fell and reinjured his hip. Fortunately, the damage was not severe, and after a confinement in his apartment for 10 days he was able to get about as well as ever. Mary has had teeth problems and has spent a good bit of time with the dentist.

Eleanor McCrea writes that everything is fine at the vineyard, but that they were worrying about the drought. Larry Mc-Cutcheon has had some hip problems but apparently is better now.

Bri Greeley writes that some of his neighbors staged a party for him in celebration of his 90th birthday. The Greeleys hope to see the McCutcheons when they make their usual trip to Florida in October. Bri agrees thoroughly with the thoughts Nick Sandoe expressed in a recent letter to the Alumni Magazine.

Bea and I are not planning to go anywhere this winter. Too much work to pack and unpack I guess laziness goes with old age.
