Class secretaries and the DAM editors are always on the lookout for news from alumni. It needn't be earthshaking, just interesting and informative. For example, the following letter from a member of the class of '80 who hasn't reported in since graduation.

Because this is my first contribution to the Alumni Magazine, I will try to cover seven years as briefly as possible. Following graduation I moved to Boston to work, to continue my education, and to continue my running career.

I worked at the New England Deaconess Hospital as a medical technologist during the night and attended Northeastern University during the evening. Athletically, there were numerous awards (New England) in 400 meter, 400 meter relay, and 1600 meter relay. In addition, there was the privilege/honor of competing with and against many Olympians while finishing third in an Olympic Invitational Relay, second in National Club Relay Sprint Medley, eighth in U.S. National Indoor 400 meter (as a second-year medical student), and filming a promotional commercial for the 1984 Olympics.

Love, however, runs a much faster race, and on August 2, 1986, I married Wanda Francis '81 in Long Island, N.Y. We both graduated from Dartmouth Medical School this past June and will be living in New York City. Wanda will be a psychiatry resident at Bronx Municipal Hospital Center, and I a surgical resident at Beth Israel Medical Center. Our honeymoon was postponed because of timetable of electives during medical school, but a delayed honeymoon to Europe is planned this year.

We would love to hear from anyone in the Big Apple when we get there.
