The Wedding Scene

Dartmouth Alumni Magazine notes that during the summer of 1987 a high percentage of alumni/ae seemed to congregate at a sizable number of Dartmouth weddings—so many in fact we are unable to provide names of all those involved.

When Chip Hayssen '73 married Helen Faller on May 16 his father Gary '42 and brother Jim '76 joined six other Ds for a picture. Missing: the new Mrs. Hayssen.

A contingent of classmates of Al Mori '51, fourth from left, attended the Hanover wedding of his daughter Nina to Michele Gorini this past August. See the '51 Class Notes.

Debbie Willing and Dan Carson were both in the class of '85, but at different ends of the alphabet. Nevertheless they are now wed, as 40 Green witnesses can attest.

A pride of '54s attended the wedding of classmate Sheldon Woolf's daughter Cynthia. Missing: groom Joel Davis (but his father, Yale '54, did make the group).

On June 20 Tom Berry '86 married Jennifer Shackett, Colby College '87, surrounded by three dozen Dartmouth friends. Missing: a Colby contingent deemed "equally rowdy."

Finally, documenting how Dartmouth marriages stick, Ben and Marge Doran '37 toasted their 50 years together at a party this summer in Montclair, N.J., as reported in the '37 Class Notes.
