Dartmouth baseball captain Todd Twachtmann '87 should have known something was up. For Twachtmann, whose friends call him "T-Square" because of his double initials, deuces were wild against Army. In addition to hitting a homer that gave his team a 2-0 lead, the 22-year-old had two singles, drove in two runs, scored two runs, and had two assists and two putouts in helping Dartmouth win two games for the second day in a row.
That was on a Sunday. On Monday, he did himself one better—unexpectedly. Twachtmann, who married his hometown sweetheart, Susan, after his second year at Dartmouth, became the father of twin baby girls Monday morning.
