Carla Coffey, former head coach of the women's track team at the University of Kansas, is the new head coach of the Dartmouth women's track team. She will also coach the men's sprints and hurdles. Although her specialty sport is the hurdles, Coffey played basketball in college and was an alternate member of the U.S. women's Olympic handball squad in 1976. She replaces Peter Fox Smith, who stepped down in the summer.
