In exchange for 15 cents, our local postmaster has a variety of interesting postage stamps that are quite suitable for use in returnJjng to yours truly the reply card affixed to your annual class birthday card. We recently attached these stamps to the cards mailed to a number of classmates who had not been in communication for many years. Imagine our delight, and surprise, when three of these cards recently arrived with some news.

John Reynders wrote, "In answer to your inquiry 'are you well,' the answer is yes for both of us. In February we took a trip to California with the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and in May we took a barge trip through the canals of the Netherlands. We generally spend seven months of the year in Georgia and the other five in Worcester, Mass."

Ros Guyot was delighted that your secretary made an error in his favor of not one, but two years (can you believe it) in mentioning his age on his recent class birthday card. Ros is nappy with a recent move from San Juan, Capistrano, Calif., to Villa Gardens in Pasadena—especially since his wife's sister and her husband now make up the other half of their family. As part of his last birthday celebration, Ros had a call from Ed Ripley, who also had moved from Van Nuys to Long Beach, Calif.

Ken Yeston sent in this reassuring note: "My philosophy is 'Stop doing for the last time and start doing for the first time.'On my 80th, we were having a house built at Owl's Head, Maine, but we expect to continue spending the winters in Naples, Fla. God has been good to us and I hope to all of my classmates. I am grateful for my blessings."

The class extends its sympathies to the family of Joseph Russakoff, who died on June 28. It also extends condolences to DonMills on the death of his wife, Alice, on May 4 only a short time after they had returned to their home in Minnesota after spending the winter in Arizona. We have sent to newsletter editor BobBliss a number of cards and letters for which we don't have space here.
