His classmates will be distressed to learn of the death of Ernest H. Trickey of Rochester, N. H., on April 14. A statement in the Boston Herald says that "JudgeTrickey died at the Huggins Hospital atWolfeboro, ivhere he was hurried last Monday for an emergency operation after anintestinal attack." A fuller statement of Trickey's life and activities is being prepared by his good friend, Bill Smart, and will appear in another section of this MAGAZINE.
Dr. J. Harper Blaisdell has recently been selected as president o£ the newly organized Winchester Historical Society of Winchester, Mass. Charlie Main was elected a director of the same organization.
A recent news item from Haverhill, Mass., reads as follows:
"When Mayor George E. Dalrymple andthe alderman receive their next monthlypay check they will be reduced considerably, due to the waiver they havesigned." Our '07 Mayor takes his own medicine.
W. T. Wyman '36, son of Bill Wyman '07, is one of nine freshman who have been selected to take part in the competition for managerships.
The secretary owes Cliff Norris an apology. He writes as follows: "If certain remarks of yours as made inthe ALUMNI MAGAZINE are to be believed,you are evidently under the impressionthat I have brains enough to be a schoolteacher. Such is not the case, however,Dick, and in order that you may correctany impression which has risen in theminds of any of the fellows, I might saythat I am still in the same place I havebeen since June, 1910, namely cashier forthe concern whose name appears at thetop of this page—Blackstone Mutual FireInsurance Co."
