In response to the class birthday card, JoeKinney wrote from Lake Worth, Fla., that he and Helen were wintering there, though Joe manages to take northerly trips to visit their Bridgton, Maine, abode where he notes youngsters skiing versus Florida oldsters sitting.
1987 was a year for domestic travel for Steve and Helen Mitchell, Port Washington, N.Y., to visit children and grandchildren in California, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania. They look forward to resuming foreign travel and golf with only minor health problems such as arthritis.
Tony and Gladys Gleason have moved a few miles from Scotch Plains to 244 Charles St., Westfield, N.J. They will spend three winter months in Florida. A year ago Tony became a great-grandfather, and also had a cataract operation on a good eye enabling him to read without glasses. However, this created a problem as his hearing aid was part of his distance glasses, and they play as much duplicate bridge as possible.
Last August Ken and Lydia Joy enjoyed a trip to Austria, and while home Ken continues on the boards of the local MillburnShort Hills (N.J.) Art Centers. He also does volunteer service for New Eyes for the Needy.
