In men's basketball, Jim Barton, at right, has paced Dartmouth's attack this season. The 6-4 forward-guard averaged 25 points per game for the first 11 games, putting Barton among the nation's top scorers. In women's basketball, Dartmouth junior Liz Walter scored the thousandth point of her college career when the Big Green beat Columbia by a score of 64-51 on January 16.
