Our big 60th class meeting comes at 11:15 a.m. on June 13, in Hanover. Dr. Frank Foster, nominating chairman, wants suggestions from all of us. Some of the most successful classes change slates every five years. At our age availability comes first. Send me your comments and suggestions. Don't hold back.

I agree with Frank who says, "Both the College and the Review must bend a bitthe Review represents enough drive, dollars, and smarts. It must be perceived as a real force for the good of D.C. if its energies are properly directed." If only!

Stan Piatt sends a brochure on a convocation on Common Security Through Structures for Peace for which he obtained the endorsement of Leonard Bernstein. He notes, "Ripley, believe it or not, we can have a safer and better world." If ever the twain could meet!

How much easier a world is represented in a 1944 brochure picturing handsome young M. Russell Goudey in his program on "Rhythms and Native Percussion Instruments of Latin America." At least '29 has diversity.

Dick Eberline says Archie Crowley is about to have a second hip operation. You have our prayers, Archie.

Cap Palmer '23 reports his brother TedPalmer died on January 28. After his business career Ted worked with Cap very ably at Parthenon Pictures.

Bib Bankart '37 showed us the scrapbook on Norm Bankart's football days collected by Norm's Frances. I remember the big D on his sweater covered most of his chest, but sometimes he looked like the biggest man on the field.

By February 6 Charlie Dudley had 60 or 70 '29ers and many wives planning on the 60th. "29 wants you!"

For the Review: Dartmouth was their avocation Until fame and fortune beckoned. Then their noble protestations Came in something worse than second.
