Football

We're champs for the first time since 1982. Sophomore (and erstwhile fifth-string) quarterback Matt Brzica '93 guided the team to its most wins (7-2-1, 7-1 Ivy) since 1972 and a shared titled with Cornell. Shon Page '91 set a single-season rushing record of 1,087 yards. Kicker Dennis Durken also broke a College record with 15 field goals. And the defense was the best in die league.

Men's Soccer

Dartmouth snatched the Ivy title and went on to the NCAA Final Eight after hair-raising last-minute wins against Vermont and Columbia.

Danny Sankar '91 and Richie Graham '91 delivered the offensive firepower. The hooters now have a winning streak of 14 games and its best record in history. As of this writing, Dartmouth must face Rutgers before it can go on to the Final Four.

Cross-Country

Greg Andersen '91 finished fourth overall and Ray Pugsley '91 returned from an injury to lead the men to a record seventh-straight Heps tide (22,1-1 Ivy). Look for the women (0-2, 0-2 Ivy) to rebound in the ECAC race after a sixth-place finish at the Heps, paced by Sara Roberson '91.

Women's Soccer

Bright spots for the women (4-9-1,1-4-1 Ivy) included an 8-0 drubbing of Penn and a 1-0 upset of nationally ranked U-Mass. The Green suffered four 1-0 losses, and with a little luck, could have finished .500.

Field Hockey

Laurie Khelokian '91 finished her career with a record 36 goals. The women finished in the Ivy cellar with their second-straight disappointing season (3-10-2, 0-5-1 Ivy).
