Seen during Class Officers Weekend in Hanover in April were: Betty and RalphHunter, Rose and HankMcCarthy, Peggy and EdBrummer, Gertrude andIrv Bettman, Eleanor and Bunce Clarkson, Anne and George Conklin, LucyCogswell, Diana Eldredge, John Benson, and Bill Wendell. The class executive committee meeting followed the last event of C.0.W., a guided bus tour of the rising Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, a magnificent undertaking, a tour of which Bill Wendell asked Ed Brummer to include in our 60th Reunion program. Ed, reunion chairman, will be assisted by John H.Chamberlin, and asks that you mark your 1991 calendars June 10 through Tune 12.

The program on reports of the Trustee Committee on Board Organization and of the Planning Steering Committee was disappointing because it offered little information beyond what was already in the respective published interim reports. Action by the Board on the final reports of each was not forecast to take place before June 1990, after the deadline for this issue. Still awaited are comments by the Alumni Council to the Board on the former, and an estimate of how much can be raised in the coming capital fund drive for the latter.

Vic King sent a program of the impressive ceremony honoring Chub Hetfield for his service to the Plainfield community's Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center.

Jim Rice recalled how George Nickum provided a real haven of refuge after Jim, who was drafted in February 1941, was sent to Fort Lewis, Wash., for some lonely army duty.
