Especially for Twoters: Dartmouth cordially invites the class of 1922 to be her guests for our 70th Reunion, June 12-14, 1992. The invitation includes classmates, wives, widows, progeny, and essential helpers. More details and a reservation form later, but we do know our reunion assembly will be in Room 101, Hanover Inn, and our dinners will be in Room 116. A student receptionist with a car will be available for assistance and local transportation.

Record alumni attendance at a 70th is held by 1919 and 1921 with seven each. We Twoters—last of the small classes and still Wah-Hoo-Wahing—consider that a challenge. Our latest census has 22 alumni and 32 class ladies, mainly wives of departed classmates, manifesting continuous loyalty to Dartmouth.

We will be lodged in a convenient dormitory. Some, of course, would prefer the Hanover Inn, but the dates June 12-14 include Dartmouth's 222nd commencement, busiest weekend of the year for the Inn. 75 of its 92 rooms will be reserved for commencement honoraries, leaving 17 rooms for 400 requests from 65th and 50th class reunions. Nevertheless, if you want to toss your hat into the ring, a prompt letter is suggested to Hanover Inn, c/o Joanne Bellavance, Hanover, NH 03755.

And you might want to stick June 12-14 on your refrigerator door.

But now we must sorrowfully join Jack Dodd in bereavement for the loss of his wife, Fran, a truly gracious lady who passed away in September.
