Four Million For Three

A $4.4 MILLION GRANT establishing the Dairy Research Institute for Nutrition and Colon Cancer has been donated by the National Dairy Promotion and Research Board, and is being shared among the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center's Norris Cotton Cancer Center, The St.

Luke's/Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, and Boston's Brigham and Women's Hospital. The institute's goal is to investigate the relationship between increased calcium intake and a decrease in the incidence of colon cancer.
