Just February 9, 1992, our youngest classmate, Hank Lamb, Freedom, N.H., became 86, while our second youngest, Ken Godfrey, Riverside, Conn., was 86 on January 28, 1991. This month our young Yankees—next month meet our'seniors!

An all-North Hill birthday party for Carl Schipper was arranged by his sister, Ann Colburn, at Braeburn Country Club, Wellesley, with guests Dick and Ruth Nichols and Don Norstrand. Dick and Carl still commute to Boston via MBTA bus to handle legal matters.

Ed Farnum, Dover, Mass., shared with your scribe his 1982 treatise of the ecological and economic past, present, and future of Squam Lake in New Hampshire—reflecting considerable research by Ed. The Farnum family for some years enjoyed a summer home "On Golden Pond."

The 31-31 Harvard-Dartmouth tie game was witnessed by Ed Emerson and Don Norstrand, the only classmates noted present. Ed has seen every Dartmouth-Harvard stadium encounter since 1922.

Hurricane Bob and a Nor'easter hammered the Massachusetts coastal towns, but Chet Morrison, Marblehead, reported no problems from the storms. Tom Floyd-Jones lost a tree in Falmouth, but no water damage. Tom says no trip south this winter.

Our 1926 census was 96 classmates on November IS, 1991, the deadline date of this February column. This number includes eight presumably living classmates who, at their request, no longer receive class mailings. (Four transferred to other colleges, and the others were non-grads, except for one.) There are 15 others whose addresses are not known, and it is not known if they are living.
