blue plate (n): Desserts served at Collis Cafe on a blue paper plate. They are widely known for their richness, high prices, and strange combinations of ingredients.

EBA's (n): Initials for Everything But Anchovies, an offcampus restaurant. When further investigated, however, the establishment did indeed turn out to serve anchovies. Customers need only ask (quietly).

Freshman Fifteen (n): The additional ten to 20 pounds often acquired by new Dartmouth students upon learning the wonders of Thayer Hall and other Dartmouth eateries. A.k.a. Thayer Layer.

Full Fare (n): The main cafeteria in Thayer.

Full Jam (n): Alternate name for Full Fare.

grim (adj): Connotes unpleasantness. May also be used as an expletive expression of disgust. "Eeeeew, grim!" Often associated with unhealthy foods.

Harry's run (n.): A quick jaunt to Harry's Truck Stop in Lebanon for cheap breakfast food. Usually perpetrated after 2 a.m. (EBA's closing time).

heffer (v.): The process by which one will gain the Freshman Fifteen Thayer Layer. "By junior year, I'll have heffered up to about 150 pounds."

mix-in (n): A mixture of frozen yogurt with chocolate chips, banana, or other sundry ingredients. Often found at the Courtyard Cafe in front of a long line of Dartmouth women.

snarf (v.): To screw up in the act of chugging and inhale large amounts of liquid. Also often associated with messy spills across chest and face.

Thayer Layer (n): See Freshman Fifteen.

willie (n): The post-meal bodywriggling feeling caused by excessive grease consumption, normally associated with overtly unhealthy diner food.
