Last September, medical prophet G. Everett Koop '37 endorsed the Clinton health-care plan, which would encourage the growth of health-maintenance organizations that offer primary care. But Koop thinks that boosting family pratice is only part of the solution: first, lie says. America must reverse the decline in the number of family practitioners.
