All About Jeff. In honor of the ascension of William Jefferson Clinton to national office (and because I have news this month about a bunch of '85 Jeffs), this column is dedicated to the ten Jeffs, one Geoff, two Jeffreys, and one Jefferson in our class.

First Jeff: its Jeff Weitzman, '85 mini-reunion chair. He and I spent an evening together on the first-ever class-officer conference call. We had Chicago, Florida, Boston, Los Angeles, and New York all hooked together in a telephonic orgy of plans, dues, agendas, and fundraising. It was quite a thrill. Biggest thrill of all was hearing news of Jeffs engagement to Rachel Milliken, a Tufts '86 whom he met at a Fire Island share two years ago. I am certain that Jeff's wedding will provide fodder for future columns. (Perhaps in a gesture of solidarity, he will invite the other 13 Jeffs to his wedding). Quick note arising out of conference call: PAY YOUR CLASS DUES! (There. That ought to do it.)

Search all, Jeff:Jeff Siddell, whom you may remember from a previous column, is getting a master's in computer science (spatial database systems) at the University of Illinois. Jeff makes the column this month for his technologically up-to-the-minute suggestion that we use e-mail to keep in touch as a class. Jeff convinced our dear friend Heather Killebrew '89, alumni news editor of the Mag, to set up an e-mail account for class notes. The address is . Anyone with access to Internet can mail us tidbits on new job, new baby, new spouse, new address, new hair color, and we will get it. We might even reply! While you're at it, you can also e-mail me directly at . The message will reach me via America Online. Wow—your class officers are soooo leading edge. (Thanks, Jeff 2.)

Subroutine findnextjeff: Jeff 2's letter also forwards a tidbit about our next Jeff, JeffGarneau. He finally finished at Dartmouth in '91 "on the 12-year plan" and is on his way to grad school in geography. Way to go Jeff 3!

Jeff-in-law: Our Jeff 4 is only a Dartmouth Jeff by marriage. He is mentioned in a random letter from Ray Wagner. Ray writes to say he was reading a recent column (glad to hear it) and saw that Valerie Hartmann had married Jeff Levy. Ray writes, "I wonder if it's the same Jeff with two degrees from Harvard who I went to Lawrenceville with." (Well, Jeff 4'n Val?) Ray goes on to say he "eloped with Jennifer Kleine in October '91 (belated congrats), and they are living on a boat in the Chesapeake. Great life!

Close Friend Jeff: news of Jeff 5 was gleaned from his close friend, Mark Stern. JeffHealy has returned to the Chicago area with wife Julia, following law school at "BU or BC, I can't remember which. And I'm not sure when they moved, or exactly what he's doing." Good reporting Mark. Well, Jeff 5, when I do a column on the 22 Marks in the class, you can return the favor.

Jeffs 6-14: Not enough room or news to do them all justice: write me and we'll publish Jeff II- the Sequel.
