Because of much news and little available space last month, we had to cut a paragraph of copy which I thought might help me get off the hook with a few people. Until such time as we have so much room that I can apologize in print, suffice it to say that I will eventually answer everyone who has written to me.

Recently I received a letter from DonSamuelson with the return address of the U. S. Public Health Service Hospital. Hopefully, that address won't be any good for reaching Sam by the time you read this column, because he seems to be working on getting out of there as soon as he can. It's still a big question as to what he'll be doing once he does get out.
Arnie Carlin was one of ten men from Dartmouth to be sent to Europe this past summer under the sponsorship of the American Institute for Economic Study in European Countries. He spent several months working for the Reemtsma Cigarette Company in Hamburg, Germany. Another '62 seeing a little bit of Europe is Paul Armstrong, currently doing graduate work at the Sorbonne, Paris. And still another world traveler was Bob Andrew who spent two months this summer just plain traveling. He went with one of the Dartmouth flights.
Some of you may recall the film which Howie Weinberg brought back from his tour of the Soviet Union during the senior year. This film was recently selected as one of fourteen films produced by ten universities for the permanent archives of the University Film Producers Association. Howie is now in his second year at Stanford University Law School. Neil Drobny was honored this past year by being chosen the outstanding cadet in the Naval ROTC program at Dartmouth. Neil received his commission in June when he graduated from the Thayer School program, but has taken a year's leave to continue his studies with a U. S. Public Health Service Research Fellowship. Under this award he will study the sanitation problems involved in relocating an Indian settlement in Alaska, although the research will be done in Hanover. Erwin Miller spent this past summer working for the Worcester Legal Aid Society. This year he is continuing his studies at Yale Law School. Also in his second year of law school is Dave Arm-strong, down at Georgetown. After a very successful first year Dave just couldn't change his habits and wound up as a camp counselor once again.
The favorite son of Natick, Mass., has done it again. Artie Williams is spending this year in Paris under a Fulbright fellowship, working in nuclear physics at the Nuclear Institute of the University of Paris. He and Sandy left for Europe in August. Bill Satterfield was awarded a Dartmouth General Fellowship for graduate study in English. The last we heard. Bill had not decided between Duke and the University of California at Berkeley.
So much for this month. We're slowly getting caught up on the news and letters. But don't stop writing just because we seem to have plenty of material. How about some letters from those of you who haven't seen your name in print so far?
