Medicomputing

The U.S. Department of Commerce has awarded Dartmouth's C.Everett Koop Institute $14.7 million to improve medical telecom-munication services during the next five years. Based at the DartmouthHitchcock Medical Center, the Koop Institute plans to build a medical "on-ramp to the information superhighway," linking rural and urban medical centers via computers.
