Late-breaking news revealed in this space a couple of months back—concerning Bob Barnaby's departure in his sumptuous new motorhome for an extended tour of the United States—was, well, broke, and needs fixing. Bob has put off his hegira until sometime later this year for several reasons, not the least of which was the six-month (at least) delay in the delivery of the Dodge diesel truck he needs to haul his rig. In fact, the factory told him they had to build 26,000 units ahead of his order. So you can turn off your porch light for the present. Two possibilities come to mind, however. First, you might want to extend Bob an invitation for some future time, and you can find him at 1856 Angelique Drive, Decatur, GA 30033-1203.Second, you might want to think about investing a few bucks in Chrysler stock.

Investing in the future of the Amos Tuck School is something on Doug Thomson's mind. Not too long ago Doug and Betty built a Yankee barn home in Eastman, just down I-89 in Grantham, N.H., where they reside from May through December (the rest of the year they live in Bonita Springs, Fla.). As a returnee to the neighborhood Doug has now taken on the responsibilities of head agent for Tuck's class of 1950, which a fair number of you already know if you went on to Tuck too.

Finally, a musical mole has revealed that at any given performance (and they do give them, there's no cash involved) 30 percent of the members of the relatively new and official sounding University Chorus of the Upper Valley are '49ers. That group includes Hicks, Haak, Stearns, Clogston, Thomas, and Merrill. Most of the rest are Dartmouths too, with a few songbirds from the likes of Yale and M.IT. thrown in for good measure, or beat, or something. But the repertoire leans toward Green songs. Head hummer is George Barr '45, and the group's venue of choice: reunions.

Please send a short essay on what you're doing on your summer vacation this year.
