APRIL 1996 Alice W. Weymouth,

As proof that this column has readers outside the 1920 family, I have a letter from R.I. Pettee '37, with several inquiries with which other readers may be able to help. He writes: "In the November issue you mentioned Al Foley's 'What the Old Timer Said' and 'The Old Timer Talks Back.'If you know of anyone from the class of 1920 who has a copy they would sell, please let me know. Also, do you have any idea what textbook Al used for his course 'Cowboy History?' ("Cowboys and Indians") I took the course with Al. For years I tried to find out what the textbook was... but never located one. Also, if you know of anyone who has the two-volume History of Dartmouth by Leon B. Richardson, please let me know." I haven't had any luck with these queries, but if anyone can help Mr. Pettee, his address is 831 Lakeshore, Rice Lake, WI 54868.

The Great Blizzard of 1996 bypassed the Hanover area, but we still have snow banks "as high as an elephant's eye." There should be lots left for Carnival.

Any news would be most welcome.
