Today is January 12 and I'm having a struggle to write news that won't be "old hat" when you read it in the April Alumni Magazine. Bob McLellan sent me a note reminding me that the minutes of the 60th Reunion omitted to name the class officers, and should be corrected to indicate that PutKingsbury and Bob were elected assistant treasurers, along with the other officers. When we meet at the fall mini-reunion we can take official action on this omission.
Yank Price sent me copies of a letter to Lyn Hutton, vice president and treasurer of the College, stating that our class has adopted a revised constitution; the form was provided by the College so I couldn't find any omissions or errors, and sent a note of approval, as requested.
Charlie Nayor sent a copy of a letter from The Hanover Inn, apologizing for the difficulty he has had making reservations at the Inn, but confirming his reservation for our mini-reunion in October. This brings us up to date on Charlie and the Inn. The rest of my news is sad, and you can read it in the obituary section. Please help to make my job more pleasant by sending me some cheerful news about yourself or classmates! P.S. Here's a cheerful note; yesterday I saw one of the best comedy movies I've ever seen, Grumpier Old Men. The acting, the lines, the scenery were all superb; don't miss it!
