The latest to join this prestigious group are: Joel A. Leavitt '50 recognized for his long service to the College as a former presisent of the Alumni Council, chair of the college Relation Group, member of the Alumni Advisory Committee on Jewish Life and of the Alumni Magazine Editorial Board, class agent, reunion chairman, enrollment screening interiewer, father of a '78 Walter s Yusen '58, T59 honored for being a 'super-active" alum: class agent, secretary, president, reunion-giving chair. club president, member of the Alumni Council, chair of the Boston Alumni Association, chair of the capotal campaing's special gifts committee, father of Sandra '90 and John '92 Arthur "sandy' McGinnes III ' 64, 'T65, recognized not only for his brief post Tuck stint as an assistant dean but also for his long service as a class oficer, from bepuest chairman to president, as a fundraiser with seven firsts in the Green Derby, and as a leader in the will to Excel campaign, and Susan M. Finegana '85 awarded the Young Alumin Distinguished Service Award for her many Dartmouth activities since she was Palaeopitus and president of the senior executive committee: class positions from fundraising education to the vice presidency of the Boston club. She has also served in the Alumni Council, done enrollment interviewing and worked as an Alumni in the Schools mentor.
Reunion College '97
This year the College is introducing a new element at reunion season called Reunion College. Under the direction of Charles T. Wood, Daniel Webster Professor of History and professor of comparative literature, two sessions are scheduled for 105 Dartmouth Hall, the first on June 11, the second on June 13. The curriculum for the first date is "Great Issues at the Millennium," to be taught by Wood and Richard A. Wright, associate professor and chair of the geography department. On June 13 Wood and film professor Mark Williams will discuss "American Culture: Where is it Now? Where is,it Going?"
If you're reuning on either date, don't miss this opportunity to relive the learning experience at Dartmouth and get a cultural update. Spouses are welcome. A successful turnout may lead to expanded Reunion College programs in future years.
