Medicine for Kids

Janet Houston, a research associate in community and family health at Dartmouth Medical School, has won the 1998 National Heroes Award from the National Congress on Childhood Emergencies. The award, determined by the Health Resources and Services Administration and the Maternal and Child Health Bureau, honors individuals who have dedicated themselves to transforming the way emergency medical care is provided to children.
