Born, on January 8, 1926, to Mr. and Mrs. Edward Griffith of Manchester, Vt., a daughter, Grace. As the Judge says in his note of announcement, he "didn't win the cup for the first baby, but may deserve one for the last one." His oldest boy, Tom, Dartmouth '2l, and participant in some of our class reunions, is a buyer at Macy's, New York.

A vigorous letter in the New York HeraldTribune from G. C. Selden, on the subject of subway assessments, shows that our English prize winner has lost none of his felicity and forcefulnesis of expression.

Rev. and Mrs. Frank N. Saltmarsh are officers of the church society, parish, and Sunday school of the Central Congregational church at Derry, N. H.
