• Hockey players Gretchen Ulion '94, the Big Green's all-time leading scorer, and Sarah Tueting '98, who will represent Dartmouth—and the United States—as women's hockey appears as an Olympic sport for the first time

• Chiharu "Chick" Igaya '57, a former national champion and three-timeOlypic skier, who is chair of the Japanese Olympic Committee
