Rick Hartman, Walt Anderson, PerryDavis, and Don Berlin attended the Dartmouth alumni seminar at Princeton in January.

Your secretary cornered Perry Davis at the seminar, explained to him that the class wanted a web page and that your secretary did not have a clue how to create a web page, and we needed a volunteer. He volunteered! (No pressure, just hints.) By the time I drove home from Princeton, the project was on its way. '54 now has a web page. By the time you read this (written in February), you should be able to reach the page by going to . (If you cannot reach the web page, contact me at .) The page will contain reunion (mini and regular) information, the class directory, classmates e-mail addresses, photos past and present, class news, obits, plus anything else we think of or you suggest. Perry Davis is teaching computers at Mercer County (N.J.) Community College as an adjunct instructor. His son, Michael, is a web page designer and his other son, David, practices law in Trenton, N.J. His daughter, Leslie, is finishing a Ph.D. program in education at Columbia. Perry's wife, Genevieve, retired as an administrator at Rutgers.

A December article in the Wall StreetJournal discussed how smoothly the transition to the Ford presidency occurred when Vice President Ford had only 72 hours notice of President Nixon's resignation. Several months before, one of Mr. Ford's close confidants was asked to organize a group to develop a transition plan in case there was a resignation. A small group of people who were knowledgeable about government and politics and who could be trusted to keep the effort totally quiet was assembled, including Jonathan Moore, who had held assistant secretary level positions in the departments of State and Justice. Should make a good story, Jon.
