As this is written, your secretary is heading north for a summer at the Kendal retirement home in Hanover, and perhaps our last mini-reunion on the weekend of September 21.

Hank Doremus, who has not made it in recent years, plans to be with us. President Charlie Collis, Charlie Blaisdell, John Johannessen and others are working on details of the weekend.

The Alumni Mag is planning a winter issue on "sense of place." They want to know your special spot on campus and why. If you have a super "wow," send it directly to Theresa D'Orsi at the magazine. And your submissions are welcome to me for the January issue.

Thanks to you all, we did great in the Alumni Fund. We kicked in $140,099, 25 percent above the previous year. We had 95 donors, down six from the last year.
