Our 65 th reunion is now history. A few souvenirs are left and they are available from Jane Handrahan. Mens hats are $8 and a tote bag is $16. President Stan Berenson has restored our treasury to good health, with special thanks to Charlie Collis and Will Brown. Vice president Brown is back in good health, and he and Natale are representing us at the Class Officers Weekend in Hanover.
Agold-plated kudo to Bill Rotch for the June Mint Bag, the biggest and best of all time. The most popular "hits" of the reunion were from-the-heart talks by Hank Doremus, Will Brown and Chick Koop.
Frank Young sent in a poem from long ago. I am encouraging him to try a new one, and short enough to enchant you right here. Nancy Milne was my helper at a New England Book Conference in Hanover.
Charlie Blaisdell reports that Mort Berkowitz is doing better. We all missed him at the reunion. Wishing him well, and sending special thanks for the new class directory.
Reunion memories: the sumptuous dinners that Ellen Collis planned for us; the dedication of the Fran Fenn elm; hearing from the entire Koop family; Charlie Collis bidding farewell to the presidency and Stan Berenson taking over; brave Connie Berenson deter mined to survive her last trip to Hanover.
Nice letter from Alex Streeter '03, one of our scholarship students who dined with us at the reunion. He reports on a course on the history of health care in America, given by one of Chick's sons. Now there is a place to find aconstructive solution.
