28 My Dartmouth

An album of favorite places on campus, as described by more than 35 alumni, students and faculty members.

When we first arrived at the College on the Hill, the campus was a strange new world. Four years later we knew the place like the backs of our hands. Certain nooks and crannies, buildings or even mountaintops had become our most cherished spots. While some have changed over the decades, others remain exactly as they've always been. These are the places where we blazed our trails, made our history, changed our lives. These are our favorite places. PHOTOGRAPHS BY JOHN SHELDON '74

ON THE COVER Wilson Hall, home to film and TV studies and Hop Center administration, originally served as the Colleges library. Photographed in September 2001 by John Sheldon '74
