Warmest spring greetings, fellow 30th year reunion-ites. Straight to the news.

Bob Jeffe has joined GE as senior vice president for corporate development, a key position as GE continues its tear with acquisitions and new business creation. Bob spent six years with Credit Suisse First Boston, two with Smith Barney and 20 with Morgan Stanley and was hailed by GE CEO Jeff Immelt '78 as "a dynamic thinker and proven financial strategist who will energize GE's business development team." Best of luck, Bob!

Derek Wheeler moved from Bergen Community College to Lehman College as vice president for administration, after long stints with New York City as deputy director of the office of management and other senior positions. Also in academe, William Anderson, "technology czar," was named special assistant to the president for technology at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont. Williams also a professor of business administration and accounting, as well as computer sciences, all stemming, I'm sure, from founding and running and then selling A & M Software (1983-1996), which developed and marketed computer software for federally subsidized housing projects.

Meanwhile, Karl Loos joined Sovereign Specialty Chemicals as president of their industrial market, following 20 years with his Garnett Consulting Co. (gee, John, did you authorize that name?) and Arthur D. Little, where he provided strategy and business services to global chemical businesses. Well done, Karl—having started my customer care consulting business last September, it's great to see the outcomes!

Featured in a recent Delaware Today feature on the states "top lawyers" Brendan O'Neill, who stated that "my life and legal experience gives me a balanced perspective of the legal system." Be sure to quiz Brendan about that balance when you tip beers with him next month during the 30th!

All for now. Keep those e-mails and letters coming!
