"We're glad we didn't get random roommates—we've heard some horror stories," says Brittany Henry '07. She's referring to her roommates: her sisters, Ashley and Courtney. The identical triplets have spent freshman year rooming together in this Russell Sage room. The impetus came from their mom, who was worried about her trio studying so far from their Southern California home. The girls can't understand why people wonder how they get along. "We're sisters!" they explain in unison. Adds Brittany: "If something goes wrong, we can just call Mom—which we don't have to do much." While this is their first time sharing a room, the sisters also share clothes, jobs at Baker-Berry Library, a love of skiing and an interest in studying Spanish. But they aren't as identical as they seem—they self-differentiate as "the shy one" (Courtney, left), "the serious/trendy one" (Brittany, middle) and "the assertive one" (Ashley).
