Big Picture: Swordplay

The team has no coach, so members run their own practices, teach phys ed classes and train the ballooning number of newly involved students, all while playing varsity teams from other schools and winning. "I really like that it's a team sport, not an individual one, at Dartmouth," says captain Julia Brant '04. "If you fall, there's someone to pick you up."
