This fall Terry Galvin Anderson, Kathy Ross Dougall and Lynn Tracy Nerland all gathered for a "39-and-holding" celebration along with their families (including husbands John Anderson '85, Philip Dougall and Greg Nerland) at the Anderson home in Princeton, New Jersey. The kids—Jack and Marisa Anderson; Emma, Charlotte and James Dougall; and Zachary and Matthew Nerlan—had great fun swimming and jumping on a trampoline. Despite being days away from a move to London, Kathy still found time to reconnect with Woodward friends. "Those freshman-year bonds are strong," said Lynn. Paul Hochman is having a great time working with his wife, Tricia, on a 13-part half-hour series for Discovery Home Channel Called House Lift. He was also recently signed by the NBC Today Show as their gear editor; I talk to Matt and Katie on the air every week (or so) about momentous news events such as "how to buy a back-to-school backpack" and "Christmas karaoke machines." He covered the Olympics for the Today Show in Athens and the Tour de France for Outdoor Life Network this past July. Paul's kids—Lily, 10, and Carter, 7.5—are forgiving about his travel, mostly because he brings home really nice presents. Paul saw David Beach in N.Y.C. David got a great gig with the role of Harry Bright in Broadways Mamma Mia. Malcolm Mclver and his wife, Rico, took their two daughters, Abby (6) and Bridget (4), to see their grandparents in Japan this past summer. They attended a local Catholic kindergarten to keep them occupied during the day. A Catholic school in rural Japan...what are the odds? They had a great time and their Japanese vocabulary exploded, as did their interest in Japanese children's television. They also squeezed in a trip to Tokyo Disneyland, which redlined the kids' stimulation metersjust like Disney does in the good ol' USA. On his trip Malcolm shared an hour-long bus ride with a Marine sergeant stationed in Okinawa. The stories reminded him a lot of the piece in DAM a few months ago about the Dartmouth grad who served in Iraq. We owe so much to those guys, it simply boggles the mind. After 18 years in software, Phil Gray has recently embarked on a career in financial planning. He and his wife, Gail, have two boys, ages 4 and 7. Scott Corwin is enjoying life out in Portland, Oregon, with his wife, Kristen, and their two daughters, ages 1 and 3. Scott is with an energy company, but still gets to dabble in legal and political work. On occasion he'll read about Steve Briggs when he is handling some high-profile case as an attorney for the Oregon Department of Justice. Sarah Page moved to Winchester, Massachusetts, last year and is fund-raising for MIT.
