Buddy Ball

In October 1977 Buddy Teevens '79 (No.5) came off the bench to lead a comeback 17-13 victory over Cornell at Memorial Field. The next season he was named Ivy Player of the Year and led Dartmouth to an Ivy champi- onship—a feat he duplicated as head coach in 1990 and 1991. With hopes that the former quarterback can resuscitate the Big Green football program, the College tapped Teevens in January to become head football coach at his alma mater for a second time.
