In the fall of 2004 Walt and Dorothy Peterson were honored at a ceremony at Franklin Pierce College, where he served as president for 25 years. The administration building was renamed Peterson Hall in his honor, and a full-size oil portrait was unveiled. Frank and Ursula Weber were able to attend the fete. Walt had previously served as governor of New Hampshire and, after retirement, as interim president of the University of New Hampshire. He also was an honorary degree recipient at the 1997 Dartmouth commencement. Norm Fink currently serves as secretary and treasurer for the Transylvania Hospital Foundation in Brevard, North Carolina. He has been affiliated with the foundation in fundraising for several years. Joe Eisaman writes of visiting Russ Pfaff in Coral Gables, Florida, where Russ is retired and playing golf. Joe also mentioned an Both birthday party held for Sandy Gross in Larchmont, New York, which was well attended by family and friends.

The sympathy of the class is offered to the families of recently deceased classmates: William 0. Bailey, January 28; Kenneth W. Coyne, December 20,2004; and Robert R. Hall, January 8.
