Hi everyone! First off, there are lots of engagements and marriages to report! Matt Drossos and Katie Baines '04 were engaged in February in Steamboat Springs. Both live in Washington, D.C., and Matt is planning to attend law school in the fall. Justin Manly and Emily Viele '03 were engaged in December in Rome during a three-week trip around Europe. The couple plans to be married in July in Vail, Colorado. While in London they caught up with Nigel D'Souza and Tom Allason. Nigel is studying to be a doctor and Tom is managing director of a successful start-up company called e-courier. Jessica Houston wrote to say that she is currently living in Los Angeles with RickSu '01 and was happy to report that they recently got engaged as well. Jessica is working as a research manager for a market research company in Hollywood. Last, but not least, Katie Codey filled me in on the January engagement of Annie Nash and Bill Bing '01, who both live in Boston. On to the weddings.

Shuja Khan and Emily Quetone were married on March 26 in San Francisco. Jeff Garrett married the couple after having completed the online ordainment process. Other '02s in attendance included Ryan Viets, Juan Vasquez, Randall Brown, Ed Freidheim, Alex Oren, Eric Powers, Laura Burt, Christina Hoe and many Dartmouth Rockapellas.

Erin McCarthy and Kevin Donahue were married in June 2004 in Milton, Massachusetts. Lisa Jason and Lauren Wilson were in the bridal party, and Jamie Colligan, John Villapiano, Teddy Hodgson, Alex Rolfe, Dave Scannell, John Partridge, Mike Holick, Devon Green and Susan Lee came to celebrate with the happy couple. Erin is still teaching third grade in Wilmington and Kevin is finishing up his third year of medical school at BU. The couple recently moved from Back Bay into a new house in Milton.

Brooke Atkinson and Mark Yohalem were married on August 14 in southern California. Many '02s made the trip out to California, including groomsmen James Judah and Zach Seavey and bridesmaids Jessica Houston, Stephanie Hogan and Jennifer Chen. After a honeymoon on Maui, Brooke and Mark are back in Boston until Mark graduates from Harvard Law School in June, when they will be moving to Los Angeles.

This issue of the Class Notes also sees a few first-time submitters! Erica Mintzer wrote that she is still working in Boston for Tellus Institute, an environmental think tank. Though she is stuck in an office all day, she recently visited Caroline Pott in Thailand and Malaysia and completed a NOLS backcountry ski course in the Grand Tetons. Erica also had a great time at a conference in the Bay Area in December, where she got a taste of surfer-dude culture with Dartmouth relocateds Sora Kim, Andreas Stravropoulos, Dave Asmussen, Meredith Eilers 03, Flora Krivak-Tetley and Jeff Cooney.

I also heard from Julie Cumming, who moved to San Francisco from Boston a few months ago. She abandoned her job in finance for a little change and is now working for Gap Inc. in their planning and distribution division for Old Navy Online. She said it was a big move, but everything is going well so far. Julie is enjoying the California lifestyle and went surfing her first weekend out west with her roommate Shelley de Alth!

That's all for now! Keep sending me your updates.
