Big Picture: Wading Game

When editors at Fly Rod & Reel magazine recently named- Dartmouth one of the top ten colleges for angling undergrads, they mentioned their guide wasn't necessarily for kids. Case in point: Donald D. Cutter Jr. '73 (foreground) and William Martin '87, two Upper Valley residents who know a few fishing holes such as this one on the Mascoma River. Another case in point: Thomas Ames Jr. '74, who photographed the duo in June, has a new book of fly- fishing insect images, Fishbugs, coming out in September.
