Anne-Marie Keane sure stays busy! She writes: "I am living in Weston, Massachusetts, with my husband, John, and kids Jack (7), Brendan (6), Patrick (2), Kaitlin (1). For those who may have remembered that I was pregnant at our last reunion while towing around three boys, we were a bit shocked that No. 4 turned out to be a girl! Fortunately, Kaitlin has the benefit of Title 9 and has equal opportunity! We spend most of our time enjoying the outdoor offerings of New Hampshire (hiking, rock climbing, soccer, golf and skiing) and a lot of weekends in Hanover. I make sure we attend a decent number of Dartmouth athletic events (hockey, soccer, football, etc.) to infiltrate their subconscious with green (necessary to counter the crimson of my husband).
"I am working at Staples, where I have been for 13 years and four maternity leaves. I ran our catalog business in the United Kingdom, launched our Staples Link.com site for corporate customers, re-launched our loyalty program (Staples Rewards) and redesigned all the packaging for our Staples brands products. My latest gig is two part-time jobs: My first job is running a new business called Ink Drop, a new service where customers can send us their used ink cartridge in a postage-paid envelope and we send them a new cartridge. It seems to have tapped a customer need as the business has really taken off. My other 'part-time' job is raising money for cancer research and treatment on behalf of Staples and the office products industry. City of Hope in Pasadena, California, is a national leader in the development of new therapies to treat a variety of serious diseases, including cancer, HIV and diabetes. It is an amazing organization and it is a real privilege to have a job where I get to raise money that makes a difference in the lives of so many people.
"I do get to talk to and see a number of our classmates. Sarah Hoit lives in Hingham. She and her husband, Scott Bevin, have two adorable towhead kids; she is working for an investment management firm and juggling travel, work and kids. Monique Burns is engaged to be married to a doctor and just moved to Weston (same town as me); she is still in the education business with her own consulting firm. I see Jevin Eagle almost every day at work (when he is not traveling to China), where he heads up our Staples brand products group. He is still full of the same energy, creativity and panache that he had at Dartmouth I also see Jevin's wife, Jani (Rauch) Eagle, and their two girls on weekends in Quechee, Vermout. This summer I saw Micah Rosenfield and his family while they were visiting his parents in Sunapee, New Hampshire. They live in Salt Lake City, where Micah practices medicine. Micah and his wife, Kirstie, just had baby boy No. 3, Ezra Gulick Rosenfield. He was born October 15,2005, and joins his older brothers Asa and Zev. Julie Zahniser has her own law practice in Ft. Pierce, Florida, and lost power for a week during the last hurricane. She and her husband, Adam, have twin girls (whose hair is as red as their mothers!)."
