A reminder to all those who procrastinate: Please pay our class dues. The dues support this magazine and the class newsletter. In addition, $10 goes to support the Tucker Foundation fellowship program. As a former Tucker fellow, I can attest to the benefit of this type of experience. Please send in your check if you have not already done so.
On to the news, which is plentiful this issue. Caroline (Scott) Mcllhenney wrote, "I'm raising our 7-year-old, David, working as a pediatric home care nurse and getting a B.S.N, degree. It's pretty funny, because I've had to be computer literate. I'm spending a lot of time doing first-grade home work, playing with neighborhood kids and dying eggs."
Jeff Krolik in his own words: "By odd and freakish circumstance, two of my Dartmouth roommates (Charley Wise and Kent Pierce) were leap-year babies, born on February 29, 1956. And another eventual roommate (I slept around), Peter Endicott, just missed the 29th and was born on March 1. So there were a number of 50th birthday celebrations on the same day this winter. I made it to Peters event in Boston, but missed Kent's in Yarmouth, Maine, as well as Charleys in Hoi An (which Chaz tells me is a terrific resort southeast of Hue on Vietnam's picturesque central coast). Truth be told, I probably wasn't going to Vietnam, even for a 50th birthday party, but the conflict with Peter gave me a good excuse."
Jeff Crowe bought lunch for Bob Shuman and me to celebrate his second daughter being accepted at Dartmouth. Shu and I are getting wise to the fact that Croweman will find any excuse to return to Hanover and revisit the Phi Delt basement. I have been hearing for years that Jeff was going back for an 'Alumni Council meeting" or "Laura's water polo match" and am only now catching on that there may not actually be an Alumni Council," and for all we know there may not be a water polo team. [I can attest to Jeff's active participation on Alumni Council.]

I have started a stock photography agency: Stock Shop LLC. We specialize in atypical images. It is a great blend of my passion for photography and business experience. Building the business has included recruiting talented photographers and marketing the archive. We are up against the behemoths of Getty Archives and Corbis, but there is room for the niche player.
That's all for this month. Please send news.
