Hey, class of 2004, happy spring! Transition must be in the air, because I've got a great crop of news to report. To start off the engagements: Virginia King reports that she is engaged to Dave McCune '05, and Katinka Harrison is engaged to Chris Leander '01. Erica Finsness is also engaged to her longtime boyfriend (now fiance) Eric Frost. After their wedding they are planning to move to Seattle, Washington, where Erica will be starting grad school at the University of Washington. She'll be going for her master's of public health in environmental health.

Kane Russell wrote to say that things in San Francisco are great. He sees lots of Dartmouth people all over town. Kane was recently awarded the Positive Coaching' Alliances 2006 National Double Goal Coach of the Year. He was one of 15 finalists to win. To read more, you can visit the following Web site: www.positivecoach.org/year2006finalists.aspx. Congrats,Kane! Margaret Wilkerson also wrote in from San Francisco, where she works at Google and is thinking about law school at some point in the future. She sees Nubia Solomon frequently.

Speaking of San Francisco, Ben Wade was out in March and saw Amy Benziger and Tom Tunguz. He also recently spent a weekend in Boston with Jimmy Lamb, Jon Kling, John Kupiec and Jeff Hebert that included a tasty tapas dinner with Lauren Gilhooly and Priscilla Zee, who were spending the weekend cheering on the women's swim team at Ivies. After these two mini-reunions, Ben has decided he is already looking forward to our fifth year!

Speaking of TriLamb, Jon Kling reports that he is headed to Rome two days after graduation this summer, along with Joe Horrell, Jeff Hebert and Bing Knight 'O5. They will be bringing their bicycles and riding through Switzerland and down the Rhine to Amsterdam, over to Normandy and finishing in Paris all by bicycle! They will be documenting their travels on their blog, www.dartmouth.edu/~klingon/, so check it out!

And on to some other transitional news: Joanna Lins wrote to say that she has taken a new job with Joseph Freed, which is a retail development firm, in Denver, Colorado. She'll be moving out there in July. Lindsay Sheffield is in her second semester at South Texas College of Law (Houston) and will be spending the summer session studying international law in Malta. And Danielle Polebaum will be moving out of Manhattan this fall and into Washington, D.C., where she'll be starting law school at Georgetown.

Katie Stebbins reports that she was in Boston in early April seeing Oliver Caplan's graduate recital at Boston Conservatory of Music. Meghan Fitzgerald performed in the concert. Among the attendees were Kim Pelak '05, Eric Krupski, Hannah Fries, Ellen Fries, Rachel Ciprotti '02, John Stevenson '05, Jason Pavel, Meg Fushs '01, Betsy Timbers '01, Mary Chris DeBelina '05, Varun Rao '05, Jennifer Jaggi '03, Brian Doyle, Brian Pingree, Alexis Dearborn, Mitzi Huang '05, Greg Schmolka '93 and Lennie Schmolka '60.

We also have two fabulous and dedicated runners to congratulate: Rowan Smith finished her second marathon, the London Marathon, on April 24. Rowan ran for muscular dystrophy in honor of her two uncles who passed away from the disease before she was born. Meanwhile, on our side of the pond, Kate Killen ran the Boston Marathon on April 17, raising money for the national ovarian cancer coalition. Congrats, ladies!

Finally, a little news about myself: After two years with Carney, Sandoe & Associates in Boston, I will be transitioning into a new job in San Francisco this August. I am looking forward to catching up with many class mates this summer; in the meantime, keep the good news coming!
