Justin Blesy wrote in to share that Julia Drury "recently participated in the World University Games for the United States' under-23 team, which was held in Hungary." Julias contributions to the squash team helped the United States to place fourth in the competition. Congratulations, Julia!
Jen Krimm is spending nine months on a Fulbright grant in Doha, Qatar. She will be researching al Jazeera International, a "new, global, English satellite news station." She's also taking Arabic courses at the University of Qatar and "serving as a teaching assistant to a visiting Georgetown professor in international affairs." As usual, it sounds like Jen is keeping busy! Hema Mohan also wrote in to say hello from Yemen, where she is taking Arabic classes. Hema was awarded a Fulbright for research she will be conducting in Kuwait.
In California Bay Area mini-reunion chairs Cate Birtley and Stacy Kourlis organized a Homecoming celebration for '06s who were unable to return to Hanover. The gathering was enjoyed by the 20 '06s who attended, and Cate reports, "We even got a game of pong going, which really perplexed the surrounding Beirut players."
Pam Cortland has settled in New York City, where she is a Knopf publishing group associate for Random House. She's enjoying being surrounded by so many books and taking advantage of all New York has to offer. Pam is also excited to have Brendon Bouzard as her new roommate.
Adam Wilk is enjoying his job as a research analyst for the Lewin Group outside Washington, D.C. He reports that he's been doing some traveling, including taking a trip to visit Kelly Baker in Massachusetts, where Kelly is an intern at the Witch House, an historic museum in Salem.
