Hi '06s! I hope many of you were able to enjoy Homecoming back in Hanover. It's hard to believe the '12s ran around the bonfire this year! Regardless of whether you were able to catch up with classmates on campus, though, here's some news about '06s.
Emily Elliott recently decided against a career in law and left her job at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. She is current- ly working in the not-for-profit sector as the development coordinator of the Boston Ballet. Congratulations on your new job, Emily!
Congratulations to Danielle Mohilef, who was married to Dr. Jonathan Rudner on June 21 at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Danielle's bridal party included Jessica Reiten, Meredith Cashman and "best maid of honor ever" Michelle Mohilef 'O7. Danielle and Jonathan were thrilled to have so many Dartmouth friends present for their wedding, including Andrew Caspary, Joseph Killefer, Erica Steger, Mike Ouellette, Neil Putman, Chris Lapointe, Meredith Lunn, Bob Blake, Katie Collins, Angela Broad, Katie Wolf and Susan Abramczyk. The couple is currently living in Los Angeles, where Jonathan practices cosmetic and general dentistry and Danielle co-founded the LEAP Foundation Inc., a nonprofit organization that "guides young adults, ages 15 to 25, in new directions by exposing them to skills that are never taught explicitly in a formal educational setting." Danielle has been enjoying the challenge of building a company and the reward of knowing "we are empowering future leaders and enhancing the lives of so many young adults."
Best wishes to Susan Abramczyk and Steven Pohlmeyer'o4, who were married June 7 on Cape Cod. Susans bridesmaids were Betsy Burke, Meredith Curtis and Melanie Schorr, and the couple was pleased to have so many Dartmouth alumni there to share in their celebration. Susan and Steve are currently living in New York City. Congratulations also to Lucky Nelson Schmitt, who is "playing happy homemaker since I got married in Boston in May. My husband, Michael, is a Tufts '03 and works as an architectural photographer." Lucky is in the second year of a Ph.D. program in clinical psychology at Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. He began a clinical practicum this fall.
I hope you're doing well and I would love to hear about what you're up to!
